| wir waren nicht die ersten, viele Leute nutzten das tolle Wetter... |

| Zuckerguss.... |

| die Sonne spiegelt und glitzert in den Eiskristallen.... |

| Eis und Schnee haben alles fest im Griff.... |

| sogar die Stromleitung stand unter Eis.... |
 |
| dann geht die Sonne auf.... |
 |
| das bringt alles in ein noch schöneres Licht... |
 |
| Lilly war dabei... zittert, bibbert aber trotzdem hatte sie Spaß im Schnee |

| Die Sonne stieg höher und erwärmte die Luft, sofort war der Nebel da... |

| alles funkelt und glitzert..... |
 |
| dann kämpft die Sonne gegen den Nebel..... |
 |
| sieht super aus..... |
 |
| unten im Tal war immer noch Nebel und Dunst.... |
Good morning Frank: With conditions like this you would be right at home here in Canada, where we are accustomed to such temperatures at this time of the year. Unusually this year the entire continent was been gripped by intense cold and it is especially hard for the southern regions where they have neither the equipment to handle the snow, adequate insulation in their homes and most people don't even have winter clothing. As for us, Miriam and I spent a glorious day birding yesterday, in wonderful winter weather. Spring is yet a month away. Take care and stay safe.

I suspect that Lilly was a delightful companion in those circumstances - she certainly looks as if she had fun, and I expect that she gave you a lot of amusement. Our snow lasted less than a week, and was not so deep.

AntwortenLöschenDie Bilder sprichen für sich selbst. Es war ein ganz schöne Erfahrung wieder mal im Schnee zu laufen. Für Hunde was es auch ganz toll, wie du ungezweifelt bemerkt hast. Die Welt sieht ganz schön aus wenn es geschneit hat. Wir sind immer ganz froh damit, wenn es ..... nicht zu lange dauert. Aber ein Winter ohne Schnee uns Eis is kein richtige Winter. Jedenfals hast du sehr schöne Bilder um diese Zeit nicht zu vergessen.

AntwortenLöschenPoeh, nog een stuk kouder dan hier, daar in Helkerode. Leuk om te zien dat je hondje Lilly bijna onder de sneeuw verdwijnt. Mooie panorama's van het stadje en de winterlandschappen.

AntwortenLöschenIch dachte wir hätten Schnee und Frost, aber bei dir war es nicht nur sehr kalt, sondern der Schnee ist auch viel !! Ich denke, Schnee ist wirklich toll zu sehen und ich sehe auch viel Schnee mit dir. Schöne weiße Bäume, die wir hier nicht hatten. Trotzdem denke ich, dass du glücklich sein wirst, wenn das Wetter etwas wärmer wird :-)
Ich habe deine Bilder von diesem Schnee und Eis wirklich genossen.
